Two new books from Hentzenwerke will be available soon. "Debugging
Visual FoxPro Applications" by Nancy Folsom is reportedly at the
printer, and should be available very soon. The E-Book format is ready
now. Also, the "Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 7.0" is said to be "in
beta". A preview edition of the E-Book portion is available now.
Our topic this month was the ClearAll utility, written and presented by
Glenn Domeracki. Glenn showed us how this utility simplifies the task
of maintaining different development environments for multiple projects.
It enables you to quickly and completely reset the development
environment after a crash (does that happen in Fox?), or when switching
to a different project. It also provides a tool to create global or
project-specific toolbar buttons to perform any task. The source code
for this utility will be made available on our website, or can be
requested directly from Glenn (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The next GRAFUG meeting will take place on Saturday, March 9th, 2002.
The meeting will start at 11:00am and run till about 1:00pm or so.
No presentation has been planned as yet. Suggestions, or better yet,
volunteers, are welcome.
As always, if there's anything that you'd be willing to present, or
there's a topic that you would really like to cover at a future meeting,
please send me an email and let me know
